13th Annual Garden Walk - Epilogue

The Historic Pullman Garden Club thanks all our members, friends and sponsors who extended helping hands to make our annual Garden Walk a success on Saturday June 16. We continued our dubious tradition of somehow choosing to schedule the event on one of the hottest days of the season - this year with the added bonus of a brief rainstorm to punctuate the afternoon.

Still our visitors enjoyed viewing the gardens of Pat Green and Marcia Terrones, Kim Haddon, Marybelle Nelson, and Nanette Zier, as well as the kitchen and gardens of John and Lori Christie, Mike Manika, Kari Mason and Kris Thomsen. At our cooking demonstration tent, Joe Dietz was a lifesaver, pressed into service at the very last minute.

Thanks to Pete's Fresh Market for cafe donations and Mike McGraw for his invaluable help. We thank all our hosts for the welcome into your yards, making the Pullman Garden Walk a special day, and for
beautifying our community all year round.
